We encourage participants to walk or run with a team for fun or competition, but it isn’t required by any means.
If you’d like to participate with friends, family and/or co-workers, then you should strongly consider creating a team. Details below:
– You may register to “run or walk” with a team by typing in their name during race registration.
– To “fundraise” with a team or donate, you will also want to join them on Crowdrise (2018 link coming soon).
– Crowdrise donations do not count towards race registration (but are very generous and greatly appreciated)!
During registration, you’ll have the chance to create or join a team. You will be able to choose from existing teams. If you’re creating a new team, you can do that too and tell your friends, family and co-workers to join you!
Forgot to join a team? Name Change?
– If you’ve already registered and didn’t fill out a team name or would like to change your team name, email the change to firstname.lastname@example.org and we can manually change it before race day.
After registering your team for the race, please also consider creating a fundraising group at Crowdrise, our donation platform for 2018.
